So these are some images from a shading and lighting and course I took. Not ultimately what floats my boat if you know what I mean, but still pretty interesting stuff. The course was built around investigating the look, shading, and atmosphere that brings scenes to life. It helps develop an eye for texturing and lighting objects that parallel real world. It really focused on light and shadow and observation techniques.
